Changelog
What's new in RankRush. New features, improvements and fixes, newest first.
Copy-paste code for audit fixes
· Version 0.1.62
- New: Audit fix tasks that need a code change now come with the code. A task asking you to add JSON-LD, a meta tag or a robots.txt line shows the exact block to paste, filled in with your own business name and URLs, plus a copy button.
Fix tasks grounded in best practice, rebuilt as a queue
· Version 0.1.61
- New: Audit fix tasks and blog articles now draw on a curated set of AI-visibility best-practice rules (schema conventions, AI-crawler access, E-E-A-T, internal linking, on-page rules), so guidance is grounded in current practice rather than the model's memory alone.
- Improved: Fix tasks are a queue on both the Tasks page and the node workspace: one line per task, opening onto the explanation, the exact pages to change and the test for knowing it is done.
- Improved: The Tasks page groups fixes by node, with each node's impact and estimated effort, highest impact first.
- Fixed: Ticking a fix task now updates immediately, and the node page says when it is still writing your fix tasks instead of showing an empty column.
Rebuilt off-site audit and cleaner competitor lists
· Version 0.1.60
- New: Brands cited in AI answers are now identified as a business, a publisher or a platform, so news sites, magazines and research repositories are listed under Sources instead of as competitors.
- Improved: The Website Audit's off-site tab is rebuilt: review volume and score against your top competitors, press that ran versus press an engine actually cited, your share of the Reddit conversation, and your encyclopedic footprint signal by signal.
- Fixed: Trustpilot and Google Business Profile ratings are now compared against your top competitors, and competitors are matched by their own website so a same-name business in another city is left out.
- Fixed: The Wikipedia and Wikidata check reads Wikidata's structured data, so companies with a complete Wikidata entry are no longer reported as missing one.
- Fixed: Brands discovered in AI answers are named properly again ("Spar" rather than "spar.hr"), and platforms such as Google, Wikipedia and TripAdvisor no longer appear as competitors.
Report links that keep working
· Version 0.1.59
- Improved: A claimed visibility report opens on the dashboard, so you can look around first. We only ask for business details when you run a scan, audit or keyword generation.
- Fixed: Report links no longer expire or dead-end. Each link now opens the right door when clicked and lasts as long as the report itself.
Light theme polish
· Version 0.1.58
- Fixed: Dropdown menus and the Buzz draft editor now follow the light theme instead of staying dark.
Reports in the app
· Version 0.1.57
- New: Your AI visibility report now lives in the app under Reports, built from your own scan runs, with an Export PDF button.
AI visibility reports built from your scans
· Version 0.1.56
- New: Build an AI visibility report straight from a profile's scan runs. Pick one run, or two to see what moved between them: headline figures, a card per engine, and who each engine actually cites.
- New: Reports include coverage by topic, your most-cited pages, every query with each engine's verdict, a site-audit breakdown and a prioritized "What to do" list.
- New: A root-cause section appears when something is blocking the report, such as a site refusing the crawl or an engine outage.
- Improved: An engine that was rate-limited or returned no AI Overview now reads as "no verdict" rather than scoring zero, so an outage is never mistaken for invisibility.
Google AI Overviews, off-site audits and social presence
· Version 0.1.55
- New: Google AI Overviews joins ChatGPT and Perplexity as a default scanning engine. Each scan shows how many of your keywords trigger an AI Overview and how often you appear in it.
- New: Website audits run as two lanes: an on-site audit that crawls your site, and an off-site audit that checks reviews, press, listings, Wikipedia and Google Business Profile without a crawl. A full audit still counts as one audit.
- New: The audit checks your presence on the social platforms that AI cites most for your industry, including LinkedIn and YouTube (with real audience numbers).
- New: Rescan a single AI platform from its dashboard card, export any report as a PDF, and remove a business from your account.
- Improved: Website audits are faster: the crawl fetches the pages that matter first, off-site results appear as soon as they are ready, and multilingual sites are crawled once per page.
- Improved: Category visibility is measured against the real Google searches your buyers make for what you sell, and those searches are saved to your Keyword Lab.
- Fixed: A check that could not run, for example because a third-party service was unreachable, is now reported as "not checked" and no longer counts against your score.
- Fixed: Off-site checks no longer pass on look-alike names. Each result is verified to be about your business before it counts.
Reliable scheduled scans
· Version 0.1.54
- Fixed: Scheduled AI-visibility scans now reliably complete and show up under "Last analyzed".
Crawler identification
· Version 0.1.53
- Fixed: RankRush's sitemap crawler now identifies itself with rankrush.ai, so site owners can look it up and allowlist it.
AI Competitor Research
· Version 0.1.52
- New: AI Competitor Research in Profile, Competitors: one table showing who ChatGPT, Gemini and RankRush's own scan evidence name as your competitors, each verified against a live website, with a one-click Track button.
- Improved: Plan limits apply per action instead of as a wall on the whole app. Without a subscription you keep read access to your own data and your free monthly allowance.
- Improved: Finishing setup tops up your keywords to your plan's full allowance, then starts your first website audit and full visibility analysis together.
Keyword topics and real market demand
· Version 0.1.51
- New: Keyword topics: each profile gets about five themes, every keyword is filed under one, and the Keyword Lab and per-platform pages show AI visibility per topic.
- New: A Demand tab in the Keyword Lab lists keywords discovered from Google search demand, with search volume, so you can track the ones that matter.
- Improved: Keyword generation is grounded in what your market actually searches for on Google, mined from your saved competitors as well as your own site.
- Improved: The address bar names the business you are viewing, so you can bookmark it, share a link, or keep two businesses open in two tabs.
- Fixed: Failed requests to an AI engine are excluded from your visibility score instead of being counted as "not mentioned", and scans pace themselves so no keywords are lost to rate limits.
Light theme
· Version 0.1.50
- New: Light theme. Pick Light, Dark or System under Profile, Theme.
- New: Overdue-payment emails with the amount, your invoice number and a secure pay link, which stop as soon as the balance is settled.
- Improved: Buzz and Publish settings now live alongside everything else under Profile & Settings.
Faster dashboard
· Version 0.1.48
- Improved: Faster dashboard load, with far fewer repeated background checks.
Evidence-based competitor suggestions
· Version 0.1.46
- New: Addresses in AI answers are clickable and open in Google Maps.
- Improved: Competitor suggestions are built from evidence: the brands AI assistants actually cited for your tracked queries, checked for a live website.
- Fixed: Scanning products and services no longer fails on large catalogues.
Redesigned platform cards and answers
· Version 0.1.44
- Improved: The dashboard's platform cards are redesigned, each with its model's colour and a visibility score, and open their detail page on click.
- Improved: The ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini pages show each query as a visibility card: cited, mentioned or missed, the opening of the answer, and the brands that appeared alongside you.
- Improved: Answers are formatted the way the model wrote them, and open in a popup with the full text.
- Fixed: Platforms that were never scanned show "Not scanned" instead of a misleading 0%, and your own subdomains no longer appear as competitors.
- Fixed: Offer extraction finds far more of what a business sells, including sites behind a firewall, sites without a sitemap, and non-English catalogues.
