Don't mass-produce pages for query variations, with AI or without it

Why it matters
Google's scaled content abuse policy covers many pages generated primarily to manipulate rankings, and it names generative AI used without adding value as an example. The 2026 AI guide says a high page count does not make a site more relevant. Bing's 2026 guidelines target large-scale content produced without oversight or editorial review.
How to do it
- Merge near-duplicate location, comparison or keyword-variant pages into fewer strong pages
- Require human review and fact-checking for every AI-assisted page, including titles, alt text and structured data
- Noindex or remove programmatic pages that have no unique data
