Use nosnippet, data-nosnippet and max-snippet deliberately; they limit AI reuse too

Why it matters
Google lists nosnippet, data-nosnippet, max-snippet and noindex as the controls for what Search shows, including in AI features. Bing's 2026 guidelines say NOSNIPPET and DATA-NOSNIPPET may reduce citation quality, NOCACHE limits Copilot to URL, title and snippet, and NOARCHIVE blocks use in Copilot answers. Overusing them on pages you want cited quietly removes you from answers.
How to do it
- Search your templates for nosnippet, noarchive, nocache and max-snippet values
- Apply data-nosnippet only to passages you truly don't want quoted
- Remove blanket noarchive from marketing and documentation pages
