Drop HowTo, ClaimReview, course info, estimated salary and vehicle listing markup for Google

This no longer works. HowTo rich results were cut in 2023.

Why it stopped working

HowTo rich results were cut in 2023. In June 2025 Google deprecated book actions, course info, estimated salary, ClaimReview, learning video, special announcement and vehicle listing, removed most of those docs in September 2025, and removed practice problem docs in January 2026. None produce a Google rich result now.

What to do instead

1. Remove these types from templates unless another platform consumes them
2. Use Article, Product, Video or Course list where they genuinely fit instead

Rules that work instead

• Rule 23: Use JSON-LD structured data that matches what's visible on the page
• Rule 24: Target only rich results in Google's current gallery, like Product, Article, Organization
• Rule 25: Define your brand entity with Organization markup: logo, url, sameAs profiles, contact
